The Hollywood chinrest is a rarely found and very comfortable side mounted chinrest that extends over the tailpiece with a raised hump. At the highest point the chinrest stands 28 mm cup above the surface of the top, and the arch underneath the chinrest has been engineered to clear most peaked tailpieces. It is both comfortable and gives the player outstanding effortless leverage.

Figaro fine fittings are made only from the best sourced materials and finished by hand by craftsmen in a family owned business. The quarter sawn rosewood(Dalbergia Latifolia), is harvested in north east India. It is aged in the log for a minimum of two years. Only large logs with the straightest grain are selected for our fittings. The cork (Quercus suber) is the finest quality, fitted precisely to minimize acoustic interference and to maximize stability. The chrome fittings are all individually fitted by hand and are straight and thread easily. There are no chinrests available that are superior!
