16" Viola, Lightly Antiqued, Andrea Guarneri Model

16" viola with lightly antiqued oil varnish. This instrument has a beautiful depth of character that will continue to develop with time. The maple back, sides, and neck are Acer Platanoides, a European mountain maple grown in Bosnia, and the spruce top came from the Dolomite Alps in Italy. All woodworking was done by hand and completed in 2019, the year I graduated from school. The varnish has a clarity and vibrance that is hard to capture with photos, it's a real stunner in person.
